Rally July 1st! Denounce Sham “Florida Tea Party” Political Party

Let the the world know that the sham “Florida Tea Party” political party doesn’t represent you. Thursday, July 1, 12pm. 601 W Kennedy Blvd, Tampa, FL.

Dem Hose Representative Alan Grayson accused of funneling $28k to this tea-party-in-name-only “Florida Tea Party” political party.

The Tampa Tea Party is conducting a rally denouncing Florida Tea Party at the Supervisor of Elections office at noon on July 1st. The purpose of this rally is to declare

  • that the Florida Tea Party has nothing to do with the Tea Party movement;
  • that, in particular, the Florida Tea Party has nothing to do with the Tampa Tea Party;
  • that the numerous press accounts of financial and other linkage between Democratic Congressman Alan Grayson and the Florida Tea Party indicates that probable purpose of the Florida Tea Party is deliver victory to the Left in November by splitting the right-of-center vote;
  • to call for the immediate withdrawal of Matthew Russel, Florida Tea Party candidate for FL house district 57, to preserve his good reputation of not being party to an apparent dirty-tricks operation.

The leaders of the various 912 and Tea Party groups around Florida consider the Florida Tea Party, which was incorporated last year by Fred O’Neil, to be a sham. The Florida Tea Party has nothing to do with the Tea Party/912 movement.

The Tampa Tea Party, and the leaders of other groups in the Tea Party/912 movement around the state of Florida, have rejected the strategy of a third political party because a third party will only split the right-of-center vote and ensure that the Left wins elections that it would normally lose. We were concerned that the Florida Tea Party would prove to be one of the Left’s dirty-tricks operations. Subsequent reports indicate that we may have guessed correctly.

See this video for more evidence of the evident purpose of the Florida Tea Party.
